Pulte Homes / Residential Subdivision & Offsite Widening of State Highway

Location:	Huntley, IL
Parties:
Facilities:	Reed Road, and Residential Roadwork to Develop Subdivision

Services:	General Contractor Services, Bituminous Paving
Budget:	In excess of $1,500,000 (based on work to date)
Time Frame:	Bid Aug. ‘02; Begun Oct. 12, 2002; by 11/30/02 all of project under traffic.
Synopsys:	ONSITE PVG. – 1.5 mi. residential street; Phase I & III (Spring ‘03); Phase II next fall or following Spring. Multi-purpose Development – Comml. & Residential – majority Single Family, some multi-family units downroad.  350 units. OFFSITE – Relocate of old road to all new major roadway. 0.6 mi. 3-lane. State Route 47 / IDOT portion 3/4-mi. Widening & resurfacing; Curran served as General Contractor on the Project – contracted concrete & excavation, did bituminous paving. Required below-ground utility relocations of Ameritech lines. Between cooperation, coordination, and teamwork for all parties involved, we were able to expedite the project, accommodate ‘extraordinary’ needs and circumstances, and complete the required phases of this project at an absolute minimum of inconvenience to the public, and to the school in front of which this project took place.
